Working Height
Spider lifts range from around 11 metres up to 42 metres working height. Work out the highest point you regularly need to reach and choose a machine with comfortable headroom above that — you won’t always be working on flat ground.
Power Source
- Electric — ideal for indoor work where fumes aren’t acceptable. Quieter, cleaner, no emissions.
- Diesel — better suited to outdoor work. More power, no need to worry about battery charge.
- Dual fuel (diesel/electric) — the most versatile option. Run on electric indoors, diesel outdoors. Worth the extra cost if you do both.
Track Width and Access
